About S.O.G.

S.O.G. Outdoor Company officially started in 2020 but the idea and need was recognized long before by owner, Rodney Bell. As an acreage owner and small business owner himself, he was always on the look out for equipment to help with projects. What he realized is that there weren’t many affordable used options available anywhere locally, especially for skid loaders and compact tractors. Most were either overpriced at a dealer (to incent you to buy new) or heavily used options on the private market. As he expanded his search across the US, the used equipment options increased. Rodney was able to source some quality used equipment from other parts of the US and make them available locally for a small mark up. This is what started the momentum. What kept it going was his commitment to pass on the best deals to as many customers as possible through pricing low and selling quickly. It was soon realized that the products he could offer were helping customers just like him…….
With the owner’s background, experience, and passion toward helping small businesses get started and grow, it was a natural decision to start S.O.G. and grow it to offer more people the best used options and service in the Midwest.
